Dell studio 1737 won't turn on

Well before it stopped working completely there was a couple days it wouldnt turn on for a couple hours and i'd check back and it would start up fine, but now it does nothing, no sounds or anything, the ac adapter and battery both seem to be fine, the battery says full health, i've tried taking battery out and doing generic restart and running the ac adapter through it with no battery in, nothing seems to be working, any ideas what might be wrong with it, i got 2 weeks till i get paid then i will take it to a repair shop but maybe someone can offer an idea or two thanks

Try the generic reset.

In the posts at http://forums.cnet.com/5208-19681_102-0.html?threadID=352085&tag=forums06;forum-threads a generic reset is noted. This is very safe and pays off once in awhile.
