Samsung BD5700 no longer can connect to Netflix

I have had my Samsung BD5700 blu ray player for about a year and have been streaming Netflix somewhat successfully. 2 days ago it stopped wokring. Cannot connect to the internet. The internet connection is fine and netflix plays on other devices. I have searched the forum and tried, the reset, the up up down down etc on the remote, resetting my time zone, updated software, unplugging the device... nothing still doesn't work. There are lots of posts on this forum that are in the 2011/12 time frame. Anyone having his issue recently and does anyone have any other suggestions? so frustrating!
