Problem with GPS on my Samsung WB850F camera

Samsung WB850F camera
When I select the GPS mode while the camera is turned on it works fine. But if the GPS is selected when I turn on the camera it freezes on the "Map Loading..." screen and the only way to get the camera working again is to remove the battier and select another option before turning on.

Upgrade

The camera was just in for repair and one of the things they did was adjust the mac, wifi. I guess they would have upgraded the firmware at the same time. Is there a way I can check on the camera if the firmware is up to date? The camera was purchased this January so I guess it would have the upgrade you mentioned anyway?

Hi,

I connected my camera up, to update the firmware but got the following message:
"V 206276 Update unnecessary since the current firmware is the latest version"

Needless to say I still have the same problem sad
