Netflix caption- with latest BD player and C8000 tv

Hi
Currently we have C8000 tv and c6900 Blu-Ray dvd player. Recently we learnt that Netflix is providing Caption options for all videos, however neither C8000 nor the dvd player support it.

We love the tv. We play mainly Netflix videos.

We are wondering if we purchase a later model DVD player which supports Netflix Caption and connect it to C8000 to streamline Netflix, if we will get the caption/navigation option?

Or is it still the issue with the tv and we won't be able to get that caption feature?

But you have to get Netflix to verify they are going to put that on there. It looks OK here from what I read on that BD player so I'll end with... since Netflix is coming from the BD player, and it's over HDMI it shouldn't matter which HD TV you have.

Hi pdl007,

If I remember correctly, this is a 2011 and later option. That's a 2010 model you have for both products. However, for 2011 and forward, I believe that it has subtitles in Netflix for either TVs or Blu-ray players. Does this help?
