worth the $100 ..?

My friend said he would sell me his 33" LCD Samsung model# LN37A550P3F for $100. The only thing that needs replacing is the "LCD light". Is this worth my trouble?

If it was free, maybe but in the last town I lived in, disposal of a dead LCD could cost me 55 bucks at the recycle center. Nice deal for them, not for you.
