Watching TV while recording with BD-E8300N

I bought a BD-E8300N yesterday, unpacked and connected it to my LE46C535 TV. After moving the CAM module from the CI slot in the TV to the CI slot in the Blu-Ray and testing a bit, I found out that you can't watch an encrypted channel while recording from another encrypted channel. Being connected to a cable network, just about every digital channel is encrypted, so I have to switch over to the analog channels, using the antenna cable connected directly to the TV. My question is, why can't the BD-E8300, with the latest firmware, do what my HDD PVR decoder did 5 years ago, let me watch one (encrypted) channel while recording another? Is there any way a future firmware update can fix this, as this negates one of the main reasons why I bought it?

No such feature in the USA.

But from what I know about this, it only has one tuner so no firmware update to add such a feature is not possible. Your Samsung office in your country should answer this as well as the store you buy things at.

Just a question. Are you reporting that the folk that sold you this are not able to discuss the products they sell?
