LN52A650A1FVZA Center Dark Stripe and Left Side Ghosting

Our Samsung LN52A650A1FVZA (52" LCD TV) started showing ghosting lines at the right of the screen about two months ago and now exhibits a dark stripe down the middle as well. Although when it first started it lasted only a few minutes. Now the problem continues for two hours or more. I'm ready to throw the thing out, but thought, if it can be repaired, I should try to repair it. Anyone have any ideas how to fix these problems?

This is not user serviceable. Look at samsungparts.com and see if there is a service manual. If you are a TV repair tech that should suffice for the answer. Sorry if that upsets anyone.
