Samsung UE40D8000 WONT UPDATE VIA USB

Hi

I have a samsung ue40d8000 with firmware T-GAP8DEUC-1012.2 , BTG
My understanding is that there is a later firmware which I have downloaded onto my usb via the samsung website. Followed the instructions on how to extract file... The tv recognises the file however when the update process starts it goes up to to 3% and reboots the tv. I've tried re installing the data on the usb and a different usb port on the tv.

I want to update the tv because currently my ITV player reboots the tv when trying to play anyhting from the itv app.

Your help shall be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your message. But just so you know, I support US products and customers. And from what I can tell, this model is for UK. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)
