Samsung LED TV - UN46ES6150F - Backlight Turning Off

During normal TV/movie viewing, when the screen turns black, such as during a scene transition, the backlight of the TV turns off. I understand this is so that the viewer sees true black. However, I find this feature to be extremely distracting and compromises my viewing experience.

Is there any way to turn off this feature?

I have same the same model. If I turn off the "Power Saver" feature (Menu--ECO--Backlight), my backlight stayed on.

Hi Andrew,

You may also want to consider turning off motion lighting: Menu > Picture > Advanced Settings > Motion Lighting
