Samsung SMART TV and Music Playlists

I have a Samsung Smart TV that supports DLNA. The music share works ok. After playing a few songs from "all songs" - it disconnects from the DLNA server on the network. However, my Sony works fine.

That aside - i am not able to play any of the stored playlists on the server. I have .m3u, .wpl, .zpl playlists and none of them will play.

Can you suggest what playlist format should my DLNA server have for samsung smart tv to play?

You would have to research more about the DLNA server to see what files it can use. Many write nice about Serviio, Twonky and such servers. Here you didn't reveal the name of the server so no one can look for the manual.

Hi MeiyTX,

I'd also add that in order to advise on transcoding compatibility with the TV, we'll need to know the complete model code for the TV.
