Hello.
I have an old Samsung LCD le40f71bx/xec and the mainboard seems dead.
iv opened the tv and this is the mainboard number: bn94-01088b
Iv searched all over internet, ebay and talked to samsung and this part is hard to find. I have found 1 page where it is overpriced, thats it.
But I was hoping someone knew of other part/card numbers that can be used insted of this one?

http://www.samsungparts.com/ModelList.aspx?Catalog=Parts_and_Accessories&model=le40 gives other models so I can't see if there is a service manual. Ask samsung for the service manual as your TV repair techs use that to find what to replace.

Iv already talked to samsung and they cannot help me with the card, and do not have the service manual.

I would find it amazing that there is no service manual. I know many TV Techs don't have them for most models as the repairs are "the usual." But to service these models, I would be amazed that Samsung would not have this manual. If they don't that means the product was not made to be serviced?

But we have to take their word for it there is no service manual. Makes you wonder how the techs get by.
