Samsung UE40D5520 - Screen problem

Hey guys, new to the forums but i have a really bad problem with my UE40D5520. This has only just started to happen about 2 days ago now. Whenever I turn the set on I get this thick dark line appearing at the top of the screen which gets lighter as it runs towards the right hand side of the panel. After about 10-15 minutes it disappears and goes back to normal.

Obviously there is something wrong with it and I want to know if it has happened to anyone else with this model and if there is a way to fix it or is it slowly on its way out?

Read this recent discussion to your TV repair tech.

Also ask them to clean vents and heatsinks while they are in there.

This is NOT a diagnosis. That is done by the tech on site.

Thanks for your message. But just so you know, I support US products and customers. And from what I can tell, this model is for UK. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)
