Facebook log in on Samsung LED TV model 6540

Log in ID created. Then I set up a Facebook account (I've been on Facebook for yrs) and the Setup App Account screens page shows:
YouTube AppID (blank) CONNECT
Facebook (shows my App ID account name) DISCONNECT
TWITTER blank CONNECT
I presume that the Facebook account is connected, however if I click Return and try to open Facebook
App it says that its only avaliable to registered users and asks me to create a user account in the Settings menu and register a service site before logging in?! What does this mean and how do I register??
If I click DISCONNECT, I'm asked if I want to delete my service ID and password??
What is going on????
I'm totally confused!

But just so you know, I support US products and customers. And from what I can tell, this model is for UK. (Correct me if I'm wrong.) So if you want the most accurate information, here's the Samsung UK portal for support on that product: http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/UE55C6505UKXXU
