How to connect properly HW-E551 & UE46ES8000

Two weeks ago i bought a new Smart TV 46es8000 and a new soundbar HW-E551. My links are quite simple:
the bluray player linked with HDMI 1 and the set top box (for digital channels) with HDMI2 into the Smart TV. Very easy. The soundbar is linked with the spdif (optical cable) out from the Smart TV. Everything work well but... with the new samsung remote i can not control the soundbar!!! I.e. after setting it up with the bluray player and the digital channel decoder i can turn them on/off , change channel, playing disks and so on... but to control the soundbar on/off, change volume, setting effects i need to go back to its remote control. How can i solve this annoying issue?? Thx.

Thanks for your message. But just so you know: if you want Samsung support, I support US products and customers. And from what I can tell, this model is for UK. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)
