Samsung "Fitness" App birth year only goes up to 1970!

Can anyone help? I am trying to create my user profile on the Samsung "Fitness" App available on the smart hub through my Samung TV.

My year of birth is 1978 but it won't let me enter it - the years dont go beyond 1970 and then they go back to 1900. I can't even manually enter the numbers! The problem is if I save it, it also alters the CORRECT information on my samsung profile!

Has anyone else had this and how do I change it?

I've seen this sort of bug before and it's not funny (except to programmers) and here's what it was.

Check the date and time that is set on the TV. Also, if it has a REGION or TIMEZONE, check that as well.

If that fails, you want to call it in and get a TRANSACTION NUMBER for the bug report.
