Le40D550 Screen Fault?

I got this about 8-10 months ago and when i switched it on today it now has a grey line down the first 4 inches of the screen..

Cant find recipet and paid cash at tescos so kind of stuck. am good with electronics and do alot of repairs but as the tvs not that old im rather stumped by this... can anyone offer any advice?

Inspect all the tags and stickers to see a date of manufacture. Then use that when you call it in.

I tried but as the tv came from tesco samsung said they wont touch it as tesco has a bought out warrenty... so just wondering if anyone can give me a heads up before i start pulling it to pieces sad

Can't find a service manual.

It doesn't appear to be an US model so ask in your country where Samsungparts.com for your country is. Without a service manual your TV techs can't do much.
