White Dot Issue - DLP

Our 60" DLP has an ever increasing number of white dots on the screen. I have tried to reach Samsung to get this addressed. I am told I will be contacted in 24-48 hours, but each time days go by with no return call. When I ask for a number to escalate, I am told there is none. Same response when I ask for a supervisor. I am extremely dissatisifed with the customer service. Last update is that the cost of the part will be covered (my model TV does not have the bad board, but it looks to me like it does). I understand why there was a class lawsuit. I also found a thread on CNET where people with the same model received a free repair (parts and labor). Not sure why I am only being told parts. The Samsung rep also could not give me a estimate of the cost to repair. Hmmm I am wondering why since it would be a Samsung authorized repair person. The cost of TVs has come down significantly since I purchased my TV. So is it worthwhile to repair not knowing the cost or replace. Did I mention my 3 year old Samsun PLasma also has a black line across the top portion of the screen? Do you think with poor customer service, no repair and two bad TVs, I would consider another Samsung? Finally got a rep today and asked to me put through to a supervisor and I would receive a call in..you guessed it....24-28 hours. Case is 4117505643.
