Samsung C6900

Hi,
I am note sure if this is the right place for my question,
I have A UA46 C6900 Samsung LED TV and I could not find a web browser in it.
Is it possible to download and install a web browser such as Chrome or Internet Explorer?

Those apps are on computers and this is a TV. And if you've been following the conversations on the browsers in smart tv's you find folk finding they come up short.

If a reduced capability browser will do, the cheap way to add it is with a bluray player that has a browser.

Hi bob,

Those apps are not on a computer, they are a built in apps in my TV. inside the TV menu there is a Samsung app for purchasing more apps but there is no browser avialable. I guess i have no choice then to connect a computer or a strimmer.

A Samsung TV. So far it's only been spotted on PCs, Windows Mobile and not much else. I thought I'd be blunt in my words about a TV is not a PC. And it's not running Windows so we need to forget what we learned we could do on our PCs.

Hi Ilan_Buskila,

Bob gave you a good synopsis of the situation. I think you have an Australian model, but what I'm going to say applies pretty much universally. (I support US products.) If your product didn't come with a browser, it doesn't support a browser. I won't say that Samsung will never release a browser for a product that didn't come with it, but based upon what I know of the technical limitations, it's unlikely.
