USB Port on Samsung LED TV 6300 series

I am having problems when I connect USB to my 46" LED TV. I get an error message on the bottom left hand corner "New Device not found" and below that it says USB 1 or 2 Power Overload.........

I am lost as what is wrong. can someone help me please.

Many hard drives draw just a little too much power so you want to not tap the TV's USB port for HDD drive power.

I understand. But now this caption is permanent appearing on the screen moment I switch on the TV and also none of the USB slot now identifies any USB, Does that mean circuit is has become faulty now and I can never play through USB ports.
What is the remedy to get back to a normal functioning, please guide.

Try a full reset (see manual) and hope it passes.

Be sure to unplug not only any USB devices but AC power and wait, then try again BUT AGAIN without the USB things.

Also there are times I find foreign objects in the ports. I have to use a good light and a magnifying lope for such inspections.
