Watching web sites on my TV via Samsung BluRay

Equipment:
Samsung BluRay Player model BD-C5500
Uverse Cable Service for Internet
Panasonic Plasma TV model TC-P50G25
I would like to view movies from the Uverse web site on my Panasonic TV. Now, I can stream video through an Ethernet Cable running from my Uverse modem to the
BluRay Player, which inturn connects into the TV through an HDMI port. Problem is that I am limited on what can be accepted by the Samsung to services like
Netflix. I can also view files on my pc harddrive, but cannot view anything on the internet. I am running a Samsung Network Manager on my PC, but there is no mechanism to support internet connection.
My question is whether there is a workaround for the Samsung limitation. I have only two working HDMI ports on the Panasonic already taken up by Uverse and the Samsung. I would rather not run another cable from the PC to the TV. My Samsung Player does not have WiFi
ability, but I'm not sure if buying an adapter would fix this
problem. I'm also not sure if the Uverse modem is capable of WiFi. Many questions here and I would like some guidance.
