Thanks for all that data. Allow me to ask you a question: do you know how to make professional color adjustments? If not, I'd suggest you hire someone to do so because a professional calibrator can still make the adjustments you require.

There is no need to get into service menu if Samsung tech guys set the WAMR2 correctly to start with. With minimal changes from user menu white balance options , one should be able to tweak the grey scale. That is the case with all other screen sizes in 6000 series except 65 inch.

Not every one who purchases 65 inch will do or go for professional calibration. Being such a reputed company one would expect to have the default settings provided in the TV to be reasonable. In this case WARM2 color tone in movie picture mode is no way falls into that reasonable category.

I am not asking to set it to 100% accuracy. Asking Samsung tech team to revisit the firmware and see if it can be corrected to reasonable level, so that every one who purchased this TV would benefit.

As per your company policy , getting into service menu would void the warranty. Where as you are suggesting to get into the service menu. Can you clarify your policy and let me know if this would void warranty or not ?

If you're a professional calibrator, it doesn't void the warranty since you have the proper training to use it. This is true of any authorized service technician.

As far as a firmware would go, I forwarded the feedback, and the appropriate team will weigh it against other feedback we receive.

My client is not comfortable to let me get into the service menu. I showed your message , but he don't want to deal with warranty void issues as one of his colleague faced issues with samsung support for similar kind service menu calibration by authorized service technician. Samsung support team refused and voided his support as service menu was touched during calibration.

He would like to return this tv. I suggested him to give some more time to get hear an update on the firmware fix.

Hope that "appropriate team " is reviewing and can make a suggestion/comment in time.

I asked the the person who writes for our internal policy knowledge base. He said this shouldn't have happened to the client's colleague. And provided you're a certified calibrator, it won't happen to your client.

If you could be kind enough to provide update on the firmware will be great. I hope tech support shows similar attention as above on the firmware as well. A firmware correction would benefit all the people who bought this tv.

Today I went to frys electronics and looked at the unit on display. that unit is having firmware 1014.x version.

below support website is having 1012.33 version. Seems like website is not up to date.

Samsung website is having old firmware. Please have the support team upload new firmware.

65 inch TV WARM2 setting is way too cold. All other TVs screen size less than 65 inch are having blue about 110% to 120%. Only 65 inch is having 150% more blue. Not sure if Samsung purposefully did this or they do not know how to bring it down it to reasonable level. All other tv screen sizes less than 65 inch in 6000 series, one could get decent picture out of the box.

What this means is who ever buys 65inch TV , if you set picture mode to movie and color temp setting to warm2 you are not seeing a reasonable picture. Default settings are way too cold for warm2. This is totally unacceptable.
