Samsung LCD TV negative image/red in place of black

MY Samsung LCD TV(LN46A500T1FXZA) picture had gone bad. It worked with out any issues for 3+ years, but all of sudden it started showing negative images like this:

Checked the cables and other sources, it's the same problem with all the sources and even the menu is like that. Black color became red like this (notice the background, it used be black):

Even the menu looks the same. See the menu background became yellowish:

Any idea what's going on? Is it fixable? Also, is it worth to fix as it is out of warranty?

Hi hkg111,

I can't answer your questions about what the issue is precisely, or even if it's fixable necessarily based upon those screen images alone. I'd need to have hands-on to make that kind of recommendation.
