Already checked capacitors,they all look good. What else should I check? Should I change capacitors again?It's on a 4 year old LNT5265FX/XAA. It has been repaired for capacitors once by Authorized service..

If so, I see the service manual at http://www.samsungparts.com/Products/Parts_and_Accessories/LNT5265FX/XAA/Default.aspx

I am actually lost on next step, from reading I gather there could be 4 things going on. 1. bad caps, again (not sure) 2.TCON board, 3. EEpron chip. and 4. backlight invertor board. Where do I start? Is there a way to rule them out other than actually purchasing parts?

So you are a TV tech!

Most start with service manuals and follow the diagnostic charts. As they fix more TVs they learn what fixes what more often and use experience as a guide.

For now, you use the diagnostic tree or just get a TV repair person to do the work.

I wish I could afford a tech...I definitely wouldn't be spending Christmas Eve trying to figure this thing out. I thought this forum was a way to get help.

I supplied where to get the service manual. There are a few folk that expect others to buy a manual and look it up for them but at 28 bucks a pop, I can't do that.

The same thing happens in car forums. Folk give advice and for new to car repair folk, you often see such a reply. It's like that here too.
