Plasma TV image goes blank for a few seconds then back on

I have noticed this alot when using component cable not to be confused with standard AV from XBOX PS2 and Nintendo Wii consoles, not noticed anything with the PS3 via HDMI, not played on my 360 via VGA enough to be able to notice anything yet.

I know 2 of those are older gen consoles but I still use them and the idea of component was so I could have high quality playback for those consoles that I do still use

I also updated the firmware to the latest I could but the issue still remains

The TV model is PS43D450A2WXXU, it's a Samsung Large Plasma Screen

Thanks for your message. But just so you know: if you want Samsung support, I support US products and customers. And from what I can tell, this model is for UK. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)
