help with my samsung htx725g please

purchased this 5.1 system about three years ago new from a catalogue, on first playing it seemed as if all subjects had a faint green line all the way round them. played with the settings on my tv and it made it better but was still noticable. then about 8 months down the line discs started to freeze and jump, this even happened on new discs. i didnt use this system much as it was a second system and has been played no more than 10 to 15 times since i have owned it. however i am now using this system all the time as my beloved panasonic finally gave in. this system is driving me crazy, not a clear picture at all with this green line all the way round subjects and the discs keep jumping freezing and even not loading on loads of occasions now. i am using this theater system with a samsung le 40 tv so it should be of great quality, some please help.

Hi dazaman68,

I'd like to help with this issue. I don't recognize the model number, though. It looks like it might be a UK model. Could you post the complete model code and in which country you bought this?
