Am i the only one who complained for the ATIV Smart PC Pro?

I bought the Samsung ATIV PC Pro last week and i have been surprise because i wasn't able to find the keyboard dock inside the box.

All the pictures of the Smart pc on the samsung website are with that keyboard. So i called and i complained. The guy told me : Samsung never sold a "tablet" with a keyboard. I said : so!? this is a pc without a keyboard. So i want mine.

He transferred me to the SamsungCanadaParts.com and they were unable to find the pc even with my part number. He said he will call me back.

I am probably going to get a refund at the futureshop. It's a beautiful machine but at that price (1300$), i deserve to have a keyboard dock for free.

What do you think about it?

Hi LeRoadWarrior,

I'll just say this: in the US, we have different builds; some with keyboard docks and some without. Apparently, a good number of retailers aren't stocking the the docks just yet by themselves. So if you want a keyboard dock, buy an ATIV with one.

Thanks but in Quebec Canada, they didn't know it was coming with a keyboard dock. i love the machine but i didn't like the service i got with Samsung. I have to choose between the refund and buying the keyboard online with http://www.samsungcanadaparts.com/?model=UNDEFINED

so much trouble sad

i went to bestbuy today after i got refund by futureshop. They have the ativ pc pro like i bought but they also have one with the keyboard dock. The number of the one without is xe700t1a-a02ca and the one with the keyboard dock is xe700t1a-a01ca a little number made the difference.

But i got so much little trouble on the phone with Samsung Canada that i need to think about buying it again. 1324$ for that beautiful machine is a you must think about it.

That machine is a very nice Core i5 with everything.

It seems to be a very capable machine and the price seems comparable to machines in its class without a high premium for the new docking and such.

If you want to get something a little less maybe some UltraBook?

Sorry but when I was in Vancouver that retailer was always pulling a fast one by removing parts and more from boxes.

Lesson learned. Never get an open box item there.
