Again the white/black dot problem, what to do next?

I spent time this morning with Samsung customer support regarding white/black dots on my LED dlp HLT7288WX/XAA. They informed me that my model is not on "the list" of models with defective chips. Of course I have seen this complaint all over the internet. I explained that we went with this model b/c of the LED aspect hoping to avoid the expensive lamp replacement issue of dlps. After a few years, the lamp still works but now I have to spend hundreds replacing the dmd chip. Samsung said all they could offer me was to set up an appointment or give me the number for an authorized service center. I have the number they gave me for NISI Texas, but when I called it went straight to an odd sounding voice mail. Also, I googled the company and there are several complaints about the service center. Any suggestions on where to turn for help having my TV repaired?
