Hi
Try to be short.
TV bought from big retailer Feb2012. Access to itvplayer was fine in Aug Sept 2012. It is not now accesible.
Search on the Samsung revealed a latest firmware-Downloaded to a USB key and installed on the TV -v001021 was replaced by the latest v001025.
Still not itvplayer accessible. BBC iplayer and you tube works fine [This is to inform that the home wireless network is in order & could watch the itvplaver on iPad using the same home network]
Deleted the itvplayer app and reinstalled but still fails to work.
Highstreet retailer send in a technician who tried all what we have tried and even connected the wireless router-wired it to Tv and still the itvplayer would not work.
He says it is motherbord failure and need replacement.
We are not happy for a TV of this paid over £1000.00 did not last for 8 months. My old computer flat screen I bought when Flatscreen become available [ Maker:"Conarc"], from less known company still works perfectly!! I am so much upset that Samsung TV less than 8 months on the blink!!
I would very much want a new TV . What could I do??
I have the Order number, Model number, Serial number ect if any one could help me? or Should I go to small claims court to sort thsi out?
