Good day all,
Here it goes.
Obvioulsy I have the big badass LED. I have had it for just awhile and do love it. I had a professional calibration done (service menu and all) and the results are amazing.
In any case I was messing around with the smart hub and TV was asking me to update all sorts of the apps in there. While i was doing that I did also make sure my firmware was updated. Not sure what happened in the middle of all this, but now eveytime I turn on the TV, in the upper right corner, I get the "starting" icon, followed by the "connecting" icon. The "connecting" icon never goes away. Just keeps chugging unless I hit info button. At that point it wants me to login to my samsung account and then sends me to facebook. I have unplugged TV and modem to no avail.
I called Samsung and they said I needed to call my internet provider. The network is up and running fine and all apps work fine so i seriously doubt the IP is an issue (kind of made me question tech support). It appears the TV is on some kind of loop. Everything works fine. They also suggested a hard reset by pressing exit button for 20 seconds.
Questions:
1. Has anyone seen this and have a solution.
2. If i do a hard reset, do I lose my expensive calibration?
Thanks for reading my long message and have a great day!!
