I have a Samsung FPT5084x/xaa that has worked great for five years. When we set this up initally to our cable box we used composite cabling.
We recently purchased a Blu-ray player and tried to connect with HDMI cables. We get a picture, but the quality is very poor. I call the picture posterized. not pixillated. It gets very bright areas. sometimes the foreground is okay and the background is poor.
We tried an Xbox 360, same issue. We also replaced the HDMI cables. There is no firmware update available.
Could this be a setting issue I missed?
