Samsung TV missing all APPS & Unable to re-install
by dino1674 - 11/11/12 10:51 AM
I have a 2010 Samsung UE40C6715 LED Tv, which I have not had connected to the internet for over a year.
Just re-installed a fresh connection & verified connection via Network Test.
Upon clicking Internet@TV I have discovered "ALL" the default Apps that were initially installed within TV when purchased in 2010 & in operation the first time I had the internet connected on the TV are now missing.
I cant access any Samsung Apps or the settings menu within the Internet@TV menu.
Apart from the "recommended" menu selection at the very top of the screen ( which I can not access either )
I get the black dialogue box stating presumably the default dialogue of "This feature may not be available in some countries" ( im in Sweden & it was available when initially installed back in 2010 ) .
I have even rebooted the TV back to factory default settings (exit menu held down 15 secs) starting all channel tuning & internet connection from scratch several times without any improvement in re-activating either the default Apps or even being able to see any to download.
I simply cant search for any Apps, itslike parts of the menu selections under Internet@TV menu are inactive.
Please help , as had intended to use youtube for a party next weekend.
Cheers Eamon
