How to play m2t2 HD video on my Samsung smart tv?

Help! I got a new HD Camcorder and am trying to get the 1080p HD video in m2t2 format to play on my Samsung Smart Plasma TV. Model#PN59D8000FFXZA.

How can i do this? Is there a Samsung app maybe? I tried streaming it via my PC and also putting it on a USB.

Also, does Samsung update the firmware automatically if I am connected to the internet or do I have to download the oct firmware update?

http://www.m2tsconverter.org/ looks like one of the usual however you do know that it's a tar pit area. Since I don't own this TV and I play such on a BluRay instead, I can't be specific except it's never the same as folk mix up the camcorder and TV.

Thanks for the reply! I wanted to see if I was doing something wrong because I tried streaming the video via my Windows 7 PC and the Smart TV. I also tried copying the video to a USB and plugging it directly into the TV. No luck either way. So, is it safe to say the Samsung Model#PN59D8000FFXZA Smart TV does not support that file format? I got an HD camera to record and play back HD so if I convert to another format that this m2ts converter can do which would still keep the 1080p/60 HD quality the camera recorded in without losing any quality?

I also did plan on burning the files to a Blu-Ray via this on single layer BD-R disks: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006B7R9QE/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i01

After I burn the Blu-Ray, will that work and play on my TV via the PS3?

And I have a BD player that can play AVCHD content on DVD but that does not matter. What matters is you figure out something that works for you.

You'll have to try a few ways if the makers don't offer an answer. I can't guess why the industry dropped the ball so hard.

That is, you find folk with your question when it should be in the manual.

Anyhow, here's a link about AVCHD on some media for the PS3.
