hundreds of black dots on my hlt5089s

Over the last few days i've been in contact with samsung the 800# and ECR. They have told me they can't do anything as corporate has said that this is normal wear and tear. Which everyone knows is not true. This is very frustrating spending the last few days listening to this. I have a ticket #4116843474. I'm well over 500 black dots on my screen. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Sadly Ti documents it can happen.

There are discussions about it, and Ti documents to pour over. Look at shopjimmy.com for a video on how to change the DMD.
