OK, I have an HLT6176SX/XAA With The Well Known White SPOTS

I have never had any problems with this TV until now and it waits until my Best Buy extended warranty expires, and I start have the WHITE STARTING to appearing two weeks ago and now I have several. I searched the internet and I found this is something that happens at a regular occurrence.

I have numerous SAMSUNG products and I have never had a single complaint about any of your products.

I sent a question in on the Samsung Support site last Saturday 11/03/2012 and I have not received a reply.

I see where some people have been able to get the DLP replaced for free. Before you ask, I have these same dots in the same locations no matter which source is chosen on the TV.

What are the chances that I could get this DLP replaced for free????

I ASSUME that even though Samsung has knows they have installed faulty equipment in these TVs it means I'm left hold holding the bill. A TV should last longer than 3-5 years without problems.....and to think, I always thought Samsung was a reputable company,......oh wait they are, I just didn't realize it is a BAD REPUTATION.

I guess Samsung is going by the old business policy that a product should last for about three years........and to think, my last TV was a SAMSUNG and it lasted just a little over three years!!!! Luckily I had purchased a three year service plan from SAMS club and that plan lacked 6 months from running out. Sams Club refunded the entire purchase price.

Makes me sorry I just bought a 256 GB SSD, and a 27' Samsung computer monitor. I guess I can plan on them lasting three - five years too.



I know you don't care but, don't you worry though, I've learned my lesson and I will be warning people about buying Samsung products.

I'll spread the word, you might want to check FACEBOOK.

I'm sorry that you felt like I ignored you, and I'm also sorry that you sent in a question on November 3rd and have yet to get a response otherwise. However, I'll reiterate: please do go over to Facebook and let them know about your problem. I would particularly suggest that you use the Facebook Support form in order for you to get service set up for this issue.
