Samsung UN55B8500 won't turn on

after a couple of years with this tv, i got annoyed of the pc input always being on. i went into the service menu to disable the pc input. in doing so i accidentally enabled the "scart" option. didn't occur to me until it was too late. now my tv won't start. i would power it on, the light blinks 10 times and then the tv would try to restart.

i can't get back into the service menu to undo it because the tv wont get to the point of displaying an image. i need some... no actually a lot of help. i'm kind of broke right now so having a technician come in to fix it means i won't be able to pay some bills.

That's sad to read. Try www.samsungparts.com to see if a service manual can be had and hope there is something in there to put it back. However my bet is they fix this by swapping boards.
