Using schedule recording on Samsung LED TV?

I have a Samsung UA40ES6600M LED TV and cannot figure out how to record any program scheduled for a future time - it seems to only record programs that are playing now. Surely this is not all it can do as it seems pretty trivial to add the extra feature of turn on and record a program scheduled for (say) tomorrow night at 8 PM for 1 hour. Can any one help with how this can be done?

Thanks for your message. But just so you know, if you want Samsung support, I support US products and customers. And from what I can tell, this model is for Singapore. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)
