Samsung ue22d5003 and non HDMI Xbox 360

Hi everyone.

I'm trying to get a HD signal from my Xbox 360 into my new Samsung TV, as inputting it through the scart connection looks pretty terrible. The model of the TV is: UE22D5003

My Xbox is one of the old non HDMI models, I have the component cable for it but my TV doesn't have a component input. It only has HDMI and scart.

Will I need a component to HDMI converter to get the HD signal from my Xbox to my TV? And if so, will I need more wires to get sound as well?

Any help would be much appreciated.

If you Xbox only has component out, and your TV only has hdmi in, a conversion box seems the way to go.

It also does sound.

Thanks for that, I'll check it out. Couple of questions: Is there any lag when using these conversion boxes? Lag would destroy my gaming experience. Also, do I need extra wires to get sound from it?

If you check the notes, it does not produce sound, but converts it to be sent over HDMI to the HDTV.

No review I found noted that THIS BOX induced lag.
