Wi-fi on UA55ES7500 stopped working

I have had a UA55ES7500 LED TV for a few weeks.

Few days ago, its wi-fi has totally stopped working. Wireless network discovery is not even working. It tries to search for wireless networks and it just gives up. It doesn't even show any list of available wi-fi networks.

And, there's indeed plenty of wi-fi networks (incl. mine) around that I can find with my other wi-fi devices.

Tried shutting down (power off) everything (modem, router, TV) and switch back on but still no luck.

Now connected via wired network as a temp measure.

Initially, had it all set up and running with wireless. Had updated to the latest firmware quite some time back. Just checked that it's still got the latest firmware update.

Hi,

I'm facing the exact same problem with my set. Were you able to find a solution to the problem? If you could please share.

Tried updating and resetting the TV, still facing the same issue. Works fine with wired connection though.

Thanks for your message. But just so you know, if you want Samsung support, I support US products and customers. And from what I can tell, this model is for New Zealand. (Correct me if I'm wrong.) So while I can't help you directly, if you want Samsung help, here's the Samsung New Zealand portal for support on that product: http://www.samsung.com/nz/support/model/UA55ES7500MXRD

But we got a nice little community here that includes people from everywhere in the world, and they might have a few other suggestions to help you out.

Ah.. okay. Anyway, ever encountered such an issue? Yeah, was hoping that it may be something generic enough to get a solution.

I'm in Singapore actually. Have just found their customer support site and submitted the issue to them. Waiting for them to reply now.
