Both firmware and the app are updated to the latest version. It still doesn't work as of today.
Sometimes it's not the TV.

Since this is not a Samsung controlled aspect of the system, we always get to go over the user's network choices, ISP and more.
Then again, Google could have issued an update that broke this.

I understand that. What I want to know is if I am the only one or any other people have the same problem. I also want to see if Samsung realizes the problem and have any plan to fix it. I am using the same broadband network for my TV, my computers, my Ipod, and my tablets, all of them work fine except the TV app. So I am sure my broadband company(AT&T) has nothing to do with it. Samsung works with Google-youtube to put the App on their TVs, so you cannot say "This is not a Samsung controlled aspect of the system."
For Samsung to get the message it's broke.

If the app is not written by samsung, they can't fix it. This area is just like Microsoft Windows. If an app fails there, you don't ask Dell most of the time or even Microsoft. I know how frustrated folk are with Windows and apps but here we are again. Same paradigm.
-> When you can get past it can't be ATT, I have suggestions gleaned from hundreds of incidents. Those that maintain it can't be "this" often have to wait longer for a fix. I've subscribed in case you change your mind.

You should read the whole message first before you said anything. I don't care who should fix it, but someone should realize the problem and someone should do something.
Read the last sentence from the link you provided.
"However, we've passed along the information on our respective channels to Netflix, and if you want to do something, you can call them back and ask to have your issue escalated. "
And that is the response I want to hear from Samsung too about this Youtube app. And the most important I want to know if I am the only person has this problem or not.
Also if you have a Dell computer and go to Dell website and download a youtube App from Dell, which says it is made specifically for your computer. When it doesn't work, who do you call first, Dell or Google. I would call Dell. I don't care where Dell can fix it or not but at least they can tell the provider and say "hey, the app you gave us doesn't work on our computers, please fix it for our customers or we will delete it from our website.

I do see you are unhappy with this and I'm only guessing that you do not want to discuss the usual cures. I know a few that feel that such things should be bug free, as easy as a toaster and not rely on ISP changes or Google but I thought I'd at least tell you that others do see it fail.

Never mind, obviously you don't understand my question, so no need to response anymore. And the usual cures that you are talking about are just like calling the other companies.
My questions now are for other customers out there if they have the same problem as I do.
(1) Do you have problem with your youtube app since 3 or 4 days ago(8/2/2012). If you have problem months ago or years ago, you don't have the same problem.
(2) If you have problem logging in, then you don't have the same problem. I have no problem of logging in to Youtube, I just cannot load the list of my favorites.
(3) If you cannot play any video, or it crushs in the middle, then you don't have the same problem as I do. I can play video fine, just not the one from the my favories list because I can load the list.
