How do I get Internet connection to my smart tv?

I have local Internet connection .(TV to router) but get Msg to ck DSN setting from network setting & to contact Internet service provider. ISP tells me there is $45 charge to help me!

But I have put up a lot of what we know in the CNET Networking Forum.

In your case look at the details given and you can see that most of us can't tell where you are in the setup or if you setup networks at all.

Your post is a good example where this stuff isn't easy enough yet.

Spoke to router customer service..got correct DSN

Got connected to Internet and had pandora on for a couple hrs and then connection just quit. Have Samsung 46" tv 6000 series and belkin router and Comcast cable for Internet and cable service. Still connected tv to router but no Internet connection router to Internet. Have desktop windows XP and iPad.
