I bought a Samsung Smart tv last xmas I have been trying to find to use the built in tuner. I can receive some channels, astra 19.2 but not the 18 TNT channels on
freeview It says the channels are scrambled
I can receive all the channels using a sat box
but what is the point of having an hd tuner and using a non hd tuner and why I fork out for a HD sat box When I paid all that money for a hd tv and not be able use it to its full capacity
I think that the problem might be solved by fitting a common interface module and using the freeview card that iI have in the sat box but where do I get one and how can I be sure it will be the right on
I have contacted samsung uk ,they say they cannot help me because I live in France. Quelle Horreur is about all the french I want to know when dealing with such matters

Those SAT boxes do unscramble things so all I can add is that if the signal is not "in the clear" it won't play.

Consumers however are upset over the entire mess.
