Problem with the RAM MEMORY.

I bought Samsung Series 7 CHRONOS

Model: 700Z5A-S0AUS

Features:
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
CPU: Intel Core i7 2675QM
VRAM: AMD HD6750M GDDR5 1gb_Hybrid
Memory: 8GB
HDD: 1TB
........................

My big problem is when I enter on My Computer then on System Properties for view all the data of my computer on the MEMORY RAM SAYS:
Installed Memory (RAM) : 8Gb (6.42 USABLE)

Why said this???
One of the reasons that I bought this computer is for the 8GB of RAM and apparently only use 6GB.

Someone explain me that and if you can fix, let me know as.

Without going into computer design, some is used for the video display.

All computers have around 25% ram allocated to the GPU. There is also a slight amount that is hidden but in use for the bios, which can differ by manufacturers.
