On my PN59D8000 I experience very poor blacks, less contrast, like a gray fog on all SmartHub video apps. The problem does not happen when I play a video from DLNA .
The issue has been reported all over the internet (like here for example) with D7000 and D8000 owners. Others reported the issue started after the 1018 firmware upgrade. Others have also mentioned reporting the issue to Samsung Tech Support without any avail. I wonder if the Tech here can give us an update about whether a fix may be in the works?
