HDMI not working on Samsung HL S5065W

My Samsung HL S5065W was previously connect to a laptop as a duel monitor. Worked perfectly and pretty much set itself up. The lamp died and I replaced it. (Still not sure if it is unrelated to the current situation). Had some difficulty after the lamp was install but the TV decided to start up.

Now the TV will not recognize HDMI 1 (remains grayed out as an option). When a cable is connected to HDMI 2 it registers as a source option. Then when connected to the PC it states "searching for signal" then goes to "No signal". ...BUT!!! the PC acknowledges it as connected. ??!! Any Ideas??? (PS, not much of a tech person so need it in layman's terms.)
