UN55D7000 reboot loop

I was having an issue with our D7000 (we have an 8000 also) where when you used the tuner, as soon as the program went to a commercial (black screen) it would go into a rebooting loop.
So I think calling Samsung will make my TV better either now or when a technician is able to make a service call. Wrong. The tech support person tells me to do a factory reset. Now the TV is in a rebooting loop no matter what input I set it on. As soon as it boots up from being unplugged for a couple of minutes I switch it to the Component input, which used work fine . . . reboot loop.
I would have assumed that calling Samsung tech support would have made my TV work properly or the same. I didn't expect it to make the TV unusable until a tech shows up 4 days from now.
