3 year old Samsung LCD that develops yellow vertical lines

When I turn the TV LN46B650 off/on the yellow vertical lines go away but gradually come back on after a few minutes. I've checked the connections and everything appears to be OK. What is the issue and is it repairable? I can send screen shots if that would help

Hey jjcarlson,

So I've got a few things for you to try. First, make sure that you try more than one source, like DVD and cable. After that, try the self-diagnostic system by going to the Support Menu of the TV's menu.
