ES5500

Hi all,

I am about to buy a UE32ES5500 TV in the UK - I can't seem to find any online reviews - Is this a new set?

I understand that it needs a dongle to connect to the internet - Does this have to be the Samsung one, or will any 'N' dongle work?

And I note it says you can connect to the internet either via ethernet or a wirelessley but for wireless you need a dongle. It doesn't specify what make dongle but I suppose a wireless dongle that is compatible with your router would be best.

Dongle is a Wifi Adapter

You need Samsung WIS09ABGN (works with my UE40ES5500) or, either WIS10ABGN or WIS12ABGN (it should be compatibile as specified in e-manual of the TV).

However, my experience so far is that using web browser is not too comforatable.
- It is slow (processor),
- some websites do not work (e.g. the Settlers Online, it turns off while loading the game site)
- and standard wireless keybord+mouse set will not work.
You can use wired optic mouse or keyboard but you only have two usb ports and one of them will be used by the 'dongle'. I consider buying USB HUB and checking if it works with the TV.
