Intellistudio extract a still from a video

Is it possible to extract (and save as a jpg) a still from a video in Intellistudio? I have a new camera which works only with MP4 files and Intellistudio is the only program I have found which handles this file type. I have a Windows PC running XP SP3. Suggestions for an alternative program would be welcome...........

Use VLC PLAYER to play the content and screen capture from that.

Bowlish,

The process is fairly simple:

1) Open up MS paint or your favorite photo editing tool.

2) Open up and play the video.

3) Pause the video where you want to capture the image.

4) Press the "Print Screen" key, generally on the very top row of your keyboard on the right.

5) Return to your photo editing tool and press CTRL + V or go up to the edit menu and find paste.

6) Edit out the extraneous portions of the image.

Hope this doesn't insult your intelligence!
