Weird sounds coming out of SAMSUNG DLP TV

Sometimes it sounds like someone is playing a video game on it. Little bloops now and then. I reset it and a while later I have popping sounds coming out of it. This morning I had it on for about 45 min and there was a real loud BLOOP sound scared me AND the cat. I am getting real tired of turning the TV off and on so I can watch something. Sometimes I have to unplug it. What is up with the sound?

Unfortunately, this sounds like a service related issue. Try calling 800-SAMSUNG or having a technician look at your set. You can also request service at this thread:

Kind of figured I would have to do that. LOL A TV repairman sold me this used TV a few months ago. Paid way too much for it. Should have just went and got a flat screen brand new. Anyway the past couple of days it has only gotten worse. Sometimes NO SOUND, and other times distorted sound. Turn it off for a few minutes and it comes back on for a while. Gonna load it up in my van and take it back to the dude...if he can fix it for a few dollars and not charge me labor I will fix it. Otherwise I will watch my little 19" until I can afford a better NEW one. No more USED TVs for me. Thank you for taking the time to answer.
