SAMSUNG - LN52A650A 1FXZA-SCREEN ISSUE

Dear Samsung HD Team. A big thank you for your service.

I have used the Samsung LN52A650A 1FXZA for over 3 yrs now. For the last 3 months I am facing the following problems.

1) Started with 1cm apart VERTICAL LINES patch of 20 Lines. One patch on the extreme Left and another patch of 20 Just before the Extreme Right.These are very thin lines and Image is visible behind the lines.

2) Last month I see a 4 inch RED vertical line top to bottom exactly in the center of the Screen. It is about 4 inch Long today.

3) Recently I have also started seeing red,green and grey flickering of the whole screen. These are horizontal and intensity changes with Images. I also see patchiness of the Images.

Please help me & advice if this is a panel issue or a board (TCON etc) issue (Which Board probably) for me to take appropriate steps.

susheeln-India,

I can't advise on board types or match symptoms.

If I advise the wrong one, you lose money. I'd recommend having a technician who can see and inspect your unit give a diagnosis.

If the panel was punctured, you likely wouldn't have straight lines. You're likely on the right track for having a board replacement.
